Springtime in the Ozarks

I love that we have four distinct seasons in the Ozark Mountains.

If I had to pick my favorite, though

it would be spring.
Blossoms on a pear tree bring in the bees.  http://theblondegardener.com/2015/04/05/springtime-in-the-ozarks/
The pear trees and
Peach blossoms in spring.  http://theblondegardener.com/2015/04/05/springtime-in-the-ozarks/
and the peach trees are full of blooms.
Golden alexander or Zizia aptera is an early  blooming spring flower.  http://theblondegardener.com/2015/04/05/springtime-in-the-ozarks/

'Butter and eggs' daffodil is an old, long blooming,  heirloom daffodil.  http://theblondegardener.com/2015/04/05/springtime-in-the-ozarks/
and the ‘Butter and Egg’ daffodils are making a show.

and this year we have a pair of geese that have decided to start a family on the bank of the pond.

It’s shaping up to be a busy spring.

  2. How bout the Dog wood flower? Aunt Mil would love to have a Dogwood flower(?) I guess I have never seen one:-) could you take a picture of one??
