Cosmos is an old-fashioned cottage garden flower that I love to grow every year. The fun colors always brighten up the yard and among the easiest flowers to grow. Once the ground warms up, simply plant the seed 1/4-inch to 1/2-inch deep, cover with soil and water well. Cosmos does well in just about any soil, including poor soil. This particular cosmos variety will grow 5-7 feet tall so placement in the back of the garden is ideal. It will bloom best in full sun.
